Thank you for buying Leaf by Leaf. The download links are on the checkout's confirmation page and in your receipt email: one for Mac, one for Windows.

On a Mac

  1. Download Leaf-by-Leaf-Mac.zip and open it. A folder called Leaf by Leaf appears.
  2. Drag Leaf by Leaf.app into your Applications folder.
  3. Open it. If macOS says it can't check the app for malicious software, open System Settings, go to Privacy & Security, scroll down and click Open Anyway. You only do this once.

macOS 10.15 Catalina or newer, Apple silicon or Intel. On macOS 14 or older you can also right-click the app, choose Open, then Open again.

On Windows

  1. Download Leaf-by-Leaf-Windows.zip, right-click it and choose Extract All. It won't run from inside the zip.
  2. Open the Leaf by Leaf folder and double-click Leaf by Leaf.exe.
  3. If Windows says Windows protected your PC, click More info, then Run anyway. You only do this once.
  4. To find it again, right-click Leaf by Leaf.exe and choose Pin to Start.

Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit. F11 switches to full screen.

Then click Sit down. The sky follows your clock, so the first time you open it, it looks like outside. Everything you write stays on that computer, and the game works without internet.
